Careers at Aqvantiq
Aqvantiq has no open roles right now. We are a small, senior multi-cloud engineering team based in Kuala Lumpur, delivering cloud migration, DevOps and managed cloud work across Malaysia and Thailand. When a role opens it will be posted on this page — and speculative applications are read in the meantime.
Open roles right now
No. There are no vacancies open at the time of writing, and this page will not pretend otherwise to collect applications. Roles appear here when there is real, funded work behind them. If you want to be considered before then, send a speculative application to info@aqvantiq.com.
What the work actually is
Client-facing platform engineering. Aqvantiq builds and operates cloud infrastructure for other organizations, so the work is migrations, pipelines, Kubernetes, Terraform and the operational side that follows go-live — on more than one cloud, with the client in the room. It is consulting work: context-switching between clients is normal, and whoever scoped a job is the one who ships it.
Pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions and Jenkins; Terraform for everything that can be codified. Pipelines that other people depend on, not demo repositories.
Kubernetes and containers
Docker and Kubernetes in production: cluster design, workload migration, and the unglamorous operational work that keeps a platform boring.
More than one cloud
AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Azure and DigitalOcean. Multi-cloud here means actually shipping on several of them, not writing a slide about vendor neutrality.
Direct client contact
Senior-only delivery means you talk to the client, scope the work and own the outcome. There is no layer of account management to hide behind, in either direction.
The service pages describe the same work from the client's side: DevOps as a Service, Cloud Migration, Managed Cloud Services, Cloud Architecture, App Modernization.
How to send a speculative application
Email info@aqvantiq.com with a short note and something real we can look at. Cloud engineering is easy to claim and easy to demonstrate, so a link to a repository, a pipeline definition or a write-up of a migration you ran is worth more than a two-page CV of tool names.
- What you have built, on which platform, and what broke while you built it.
- Something we can look at: a repository, a pipeline definition, a Terraform module, a write-up.
- Which of AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Azure or DigitalOcean you have actually run in production.
- Where you are based and which market you know best — Malaysia, Thailand, or both.
Working with us instead of for us
If you are an independent engineer or a system integrator looking for a multi-cloud delivery partner rather than a job, that conversation goes through the contact page.
Careers — frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer?
Ask it directly and an engineer answers, usually the same working day.
Ask an engineer Is Aqvantiq hiring right now?
No. Aqvantiq has no open roles at the moment. When that changes, the roles will be listed on this page. Speculative applications are still read — email info@aqvantiq.com.
How do I send a speculative application?
Email info@aqvantiq.com with a short note about what you have built and a link to something real — a repository, a pipeline, a Terraform module or a technical write-up. A CV alone tells us very little about cloud engineering.
Does Aqvantiq offer internships or student placements?
There is no formal internship program open at the moment. Enquiries go to the same address, info@aqvantiq.com, and are answered honestly rather than kept on file indefinitely.
Where would the work be based?
Aqvantiq is based in Kuala Lumpur, at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) campus, and delivers across Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. The working arrangement for any specific role would be stated in that role’s posting.
What does Aqvantiq actually work on?
Multi-cloud system integration for organizations in Malaysia and Thailand: cloud migration, DevOps as a Service, managed cloud operations, cloud architecture and application modernization. The DevOps as a Service and cloud migration pages describe the day-to-day work most accurately.
