About Aqvantiq
Aqvantiq is a multi-cloud AI system integrator registered in Malaysia, founded in 2025 by Anson Lau and based at the APU campus in Kuala Lumpur. We design cloud architecture, migrate workloads onto AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Azure and DigitalOcean, run DevOps and Kubernetes as a service, and operate what we build — for organizations in Malaysia and Thailand.
Our Mission
To give organizations in Malaysia and Thailand cloud infrastructure they can genuinely run: modern platforms, integrated properly, handed over in a state the client's own team can operate. Digital transformation is the outcome; operational excellence is how it is judged.
Vendor-neutral by default
No quota to fill on any one platform, so the recommendation can be AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean — or staying exactly where you are.
Senior hands on the keyboard
The engineer who scopes the work stays accountable for it — no account manager relaying questions to an engineer you never meet.
Operable by your team
Infrastructure as Code, runbooks, monitoring and documentation are part of delivery, not a follow-on project.
Leadership
Our Founder
Anson Lau
Founder, Aqvantiq
A former cloud DevOps engineer at Silverlake Axis with 5+ years hands-on multi-cloud across AWS, Google Cloud and Huawei Cloud, an APU alumnus, now delivering across Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Aqvantiq is built around one rule: accountability never dilutes between the proposal and the delivery.
The trade-off is honest: we are not the vendor for a body-shop program, and we will say so early rather than halfway through delivery.
Our Location
The ASBX Room on Level 7 of the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Jalan Teknologi 5, Taman Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Sitting on the APU campus is deliberate — it is where the founder studied, and Aqvantiq is resident in APU's Enterprise Sandbox (ASBX) under an Enterprise@APU collaboration. Delivery runs across Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok; see what we deliver in Thailand.

Why Clients Choose Us
Genuinely multi-cloud rather than a single-vendor reseller, founder-led engineering, one team covering Malaysia and Thailand, and day-2 operations treated as part of the build instead of a separate sales conversation.
Local context
Procurement rules, data-residency questions and regional latency look different in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok than in a global playbook. We work inside those constraints.
Partnership approach
We deliver directly for end clients and as the engineering partner beneath larger system integrators. The engineering standard is the same in either.
Multi-cloud in practice
Five platforms, including Huawei Cloud — asked about constantly in Malaysia and Thailand, and one relatively few integrators here staff with their own engineers.
Operational excellence
A platform only its builder can run is a liability. Everything we hand over is documented, codified and monitored, so day 2 is not an emergency.
Boring choices on purpose
Current on the platforms we deliver on, and still picking the well-understood option when it is the right one. Novelty is not a deliverable.
What We Deliver
Five core services — DevOps as a Service, cloud migration, managed cloud services, cloud architecture and application modernization — plus three platform practices covering Huawei Cloud, AWS and AI adoption. Each page sets out scope, tooling and the questions clients ask before signing anything.
About Aqvantiq — frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer?
Ask it directly and an engineer answers, usually the same working day.
Ask an engineer Is Aqvantiq a registered company in Malaysia?
Yes. Aqvantiq is a Malaysian limited liability partnership — Aqvantiq PLT, registration number 202504001501 (LLP0043002-LGN), founded in 2025. Our office is at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) campus in Kuala Lumpur.
What is Aqvantiq’s mission?
To give organizations in Malaysia and Thailand cloud infrastructure they can genuinely run: modern platforms, integrated properly, and handed over in a state the client’s own team can operate. Digital transformation is the outcome; operational excellence is how it is judged — which is why runbooks, monitoring and documentation are part of delivery rather than a follow-on project.
Who runs Aqvantiq?
Anson Lau, the founder — a former cloud DevOps engineer at Silverlake Axis with 5+ years hands-on multi-cloud across AWS, Google Cloud and Huawei Cloud, and an APU alumnus. He now leads delivery across Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Aqvantiq is built around one rule: accountability never dilutes between the proposal and the delivery.
Who actually does the work on an Aqvantiq engagement?
Senior engineers, starting with the founder. Aqvantiq is founder-led and senior-only: delivery is managed by the founder and done by the same group of engineers, and the engineer who scopes your engagement stays accountable for it. There is no junior bench and no account layer between you and the engineering.
How large is Aqvantiq?
Aqvantiq is a small, senior team led by its founder, Anson Lau. That is deliberate — it is what makes direct access to the engineer possible. If an engagement needs more hands than we have, we say so before a contract is signed rather than during delivery.
What happens if the founder is unavailable?
Nothing lives only in someone’s head. Every engagement is delivered as artifacts by trade — Terraform, versioned pipelines, runbooks, written scope — so continuity sits in the work itself rather than in one person’s memory, and escalation and continuity terms are written into each engagement’s statement of work. On larger programs we deliver alongside established prime contractors and partner system integrators; on direct engagements you work with the engineering directly.
Where is Aqvantiq based?
At the ASBX Room on Level 7 of the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), Jalan Teknologi 5, Taman Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Sitting on the APU campus is deliberate: it is where the founder studied, and Aqvantiq is resident in APU’s Enterprise Sandbox under an Enterprise@APU collaboration. Delivery runs across Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
Does Aqvantiq work outside Malaysia?
Yes. Aqvantiq serves Thai enterprises alongside Malaysian ones and delivers across Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok with the same group of engineers. See cloud consulting and system integration in Thailand.
What does Aqvantiq deliver?
Five core services — DevOps as a Service, cloud migration, managed cloud services, cloud architecture and application modernization — plus three platform practices covering Huawei Cloud, AWS and AI adoption. Each service page sets out scope, tooling and the questions clients ask before signing anything.
Which cloud platforms does Aqvantiq specialize in?
AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Microsoft Azure and DigitalOcean. Huawei Cloud is the differentiator — see our Huawei Cloud services — while AWS consulting and migration covers the most common estate we are asked to fix.
